VINPROM PESHTERA SA is a leading producer of quality, unique spirits and wines based in Bulgaria, and is today among the top 5 distillers to be found in the Balkans. The company currently owns and produces the most popular brands on the Bulgarian alcohol market – including the ever popular Flirt Vodka, Alaska Vodka, Black Ram Whisky, Mastika Peshtera (Anise Aperitif), Paralia Ouzo, Sixth Sense London Dry Gin, Liond D’or wine brandy, Peshtera wine brandy and Peshterska Rakia (Grape Brandy).
The newest products of the company are the Domain Peshtera wines, which include many wines currently gaining much interest and many accolades in the world of fine viticulture. The company is constantly striving for development and improvement, and it has been making substantial investments towards enlarging the storage capacity.
Alongside this, developments are being made in our instillation columns and bottling lines, and we are building new production facilities, as well as one of the most modern laboratories in Bulgaria in which we can undertake quality control for the ongoing perfection of our final produce.
Apart from the main winery in Peshtera, the company also owns a state-of-the-art enterprise, and a new white wine cellar in the beautiful town of Saedinenie (the picture above). In September 2005, the company dramatically increased its vision and production capacity with a new modern factory in Peshtera, which meets and exceeds all EU requirements for production organization, hygiene and ecology. As well as this, the company invested in a specialized new factory for the production of superb, traditional and unique aromatic alcoholic drinks.
Vinprom Peshtera owns over 15 000 hectares of prime, high yield vines on which we can guarantee the constant high quality of our products. One of the main partners of the company is Mercier France, who are considered to be one of the finest vine growing companies and who have been providing intensive, constructive consultancy throughout the whole process of vine planting, and the growth of the company’s vines and fruits.
