Chateau Kolarovo, a Small Boutique Winery

Chateau Kolarovo is a small boutique winery, founded as recently as 2009. It is located among the southwestern slopes of Sakar Mountain, near the town of Harmanli and named after the village where it is situated. It possesses its own well maintained vines of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Mavrud. The region is characterized by extremely beneficial sunny days, Mediterranean breezes, providing cool nights and optimum soil composition. These prerequisites create excellent conditions for growing quality grapes.

We strive to produce wines that have become standard for consistent quality and philosophy of the good taste for Kolarovo and South Sakar region.That is why we are uncompromising in every step of the manufacturing process. From the grapes in the vineyard – to the wine in the bottle, we put much diligence, positive emotions and of course, love. The small team of the winery has the ambition, through experimenting with technological practices, freedom of work and complete dedication, to make this part of Bulgaria a preferred destination for wine tourism.

Our wines combine elegance and power, southern warmth, sense of terroir, completeness and complexity.
